The early birds of the Charles Bridge When you visit Prague the Charles Bridge is a must see. You might find it frustrating that there are so many artists on the bridge ruin the view. It's important to know that the artists are trying to make a living. Every year the Special Art Selection community decides wich artists can sell their goods on the Bridge. What you might see as annoying, they see as an opportunity to meet new people.

Cheap beer and rowdy tourists is a concoction for trouble

In 2014 the Czech Republic was ranked number one in the world for beer consumption. 143 litres a year for the average person.  Not surprising considering the price of the stuff being nearly as cheap as water.  Prague is lined with hundreds of bars and clubs, advertising cheep beer on every street corner, a great place for a weekend away. But cheap beer can attract the wrong crowd, alcohol fueled holidays have provoked violence and disruptions across the captial city, Causing locals to begin to resent tourists and their thirst for cheap beer.  REPORT MAP
